Born on December 2 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her appearances in both movies and television shows. Brandt, who began her career as an actor in the New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom and made her American debut in the role as Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress's television credits include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians as well as several others. In 2016 Brandt has played the role in the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa and then moved to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens She began her career as a model, appearing in print advertisements and commercials. Her rise to stardom as a model began while she began working in retail and recruitment for information technology. In 2009, she was a part-time actress as a character on a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. Her first big appearance was in 2021 when she played the character of slave woman Naevia for the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena, she reprised the role as Naevia. Craig Parker starred alongside her in three television shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter on Netflix's popular series Lucifer. The character she played on Lucifer was the most prestigious up to now. The series stars Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside and D. B. Woodside.
